Our Hive Hosting program allows anyone to keep bee hives on their land without the knowledge, expertise and work that goes along with caring for them. This allows you to contribute to the local environment while enjoying honey, pollination benefits, education, and the joy of watching bees at work in your community and ecosystem.

At Honeyville Hives, we keep the travel of our bees to a minimum by hosting on a yearly basis, reducing their travel stress. Happy, healthy bees are our main focus. Honey bees are facing many challenges these days, including mites, diseases, and pesticides. By hosting hives, you can help bolster the bee population and positively impact the environment. The bees will return the favor with fresh local honey!

How Our Hive Hosting Works

Wondering what it's like to keep bees but don't have the expertise, equipment or time? Host a honey bee hive for us instead. Hive hosting is easy and FUN!

Hive hosting lets you experience what it's like to keep bees without all the work or having to open a hive. All you need to do is provide a bee-safe location, free of pesticides, and we'll provide the bees and everything they need. The bees and equipment remain ours, but in return you'll reap the benefits of pollination without the training and hassle of opening a hive full of bees.

Your Benefits:

• 2 pounds of raw, treatment-free honey per hive once the colony produces extra honey
• Guaranteed honey: If your hive fails or doesn't make extra honey that year, you'll receive two jars from other hives in our program
• Enhanced pollination for your garden and plants
